Terms of Service

DukaanKit is a software service operated by Arsalan Ahmed (individual business), Bengaluru, Karnataka, India ("we", "us"). These terms apply to dukaankit.in and every DukaanKit app: the POS (Windows, Mac, Android), the back-office at admin.dukaankit.in, and DukaanKit CRM at crm.dukaankit.in. By creating an account or using the apps you agree to them.

1. The service

DukaanKit provides business software: billing and point of sale, stock, staff, reports, a CRM for sales teams, and free browser tools. It is delivered online; there is no physical product and nothing is shipped. Access starts as soon as your account is created or your payment is confirmed.

2. Your account

You must give correct details and keep your password and PINs private. You are responsible for what happens under your account and your staff logins.
You must be 18 or older and entitled to run the business you sign up for.
Do not use DukaanKit for anything illegal, to send spam, or to try to break or overload the service.

3. Plans and payment

Every account can start on the Free plan. Paid plans and their prices are shown on dukaankit.in (for example POS pricing). The price shown is the full amount you pay; no extra tax is added on top.
Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance through our payment partner Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking). A subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel it.
If a renewal payment fails, we may move the account to the Free plan's limits until payment is made. Your data is not deleted because of a failed payment.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app; the new price applies from your next renewal.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for exactly how and what is refunded.

5. Your data

The business data you enter (menu, bills, leads, staff, etc.) belongs to you. We process it only to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can ask for a copy or for deletion by contacting us.

6. Availability

We work to keep DukaanKit available and the POS keeps billing offline when the internet is down, but we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of anything critical (for example printed or exported bills).

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business.

8. Suspension

We may pause an account that breaks these terms or puts other customers at risk, after telling you why wherever possible.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
